Privacy Policy

How we collect, use and protect your personal data when you request a quote or use the Metropolitan Concept website.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Metropolitan Concept processes personal data when you browse this website, request a quote, use the price calculator, or contact us by phone/email.

2. Data we may collect

  • Identity and contact data: name, phone number, email address
  • Business data (B2B): company name, tax ID (CUI), venue/business type
  • Service details: space type, package, area (sqm), preferred date, message/notes
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device, pages visited, approximate location derived from IP
  • Communication data: content of messages and call notes needed to prepare an offer

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • Responding to quote/contact requests — steps prior to a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)
  • Providing and improving the website — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)
  • Legal/accounting obligations — legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR)
  • Optional marketing messages — only with consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), if separately requested

4. How long we keep data

Quote and contact requests are kept for up to 24 months after the last interaction, unless a longer period is required by law or for an active contract/dispute. Technical logs are kept for shorter periods needed for security and diagnostics.

5. Who may receive data

We do not sell personal data. Data may be shared only with:

  • IT / hosting / email providers acting as processors under contract
  • Accounting, legal or payment partners when necessary
  • Public authorities, when legally required

6. International transfers

As a rule, data is processed in the EU/EEA. If a provider transfers data outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses).

7. Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with the Romanian DPA (ANSPDCP).
